Spent 8 hours to get two antibiotic scripts. Felt ill Saturday night, could barely move Sunday. Thought I had a bladder infection. Arrive at clinic at 3 pm. Left hospital at 11 pm. Scolded for blood pressure, stabbed for blood, fisted by doctor "gotta check your prostrate," first ever IV, CT (MRI) scans and endless waiting. read half a novel.

Diverticulitis--infection in colon usually treated by antibiotics. My antibiotics prohibit the consumption of alcohol up to a week after taking them. Fuckers. My cousin's band is playing tomorrow night and I have to be sober for this.

LOL...you mustn't go near the Doc often, they're trying to get their money's worth out of you....like taking yer car in for a flat repair and getting $3000 of work done.

What are the side effects of booze....most antibiotics just stop working if you drink, there are however a few that will make you VERY ill...and the ones I was on until recently, when mixed with booze, caused "acute psychosis"...yeah cos I'm not mental enough anyway.

Yeah, I avoid the doc at all costs unless something BAD--massive ear infection (learned how to prevent these). Wifey usually takes the kids to the doctor but I was informed I get the privilege to take our youngest for her next round of vaccinations.

Hey, woke up without a headache today:)

As I walked out I told the doc that this is worse than taking the Jag to the mechanic.

"It's an occupation I don't like, But it pays the rent and turns on the light (alright)"

actually i don't mind work, except that the day is at least 2 hours too long, and what is wrong with a three day working week. :confused2:

Bolton / 'Boro was CRACKIN

or mint

I also (self cut) dred locks out of my hair and I have to take the butchered mess to the salon tonight to get sorted out. I think it might be above the shoulders (which is a shame considering my hair was passed my belt loops)

never ever ever get dreds or braids, whitey

I want to switch to a 4 day working week, so that I can go to school on the 5th day.

I had a two hour minibus ride across the Peaks (on account of rail works), with my boyfriend who was sick from allergies brought on by his folks' dogs (we were coming back from theirs), and myself made seasick from the bouncy, twisty bus ride. How's that for a run-on sentence? And we almost hit some sheep. All in all, a full day!

twist, sorry to hear about the health issues. Here's hoping that you have a fast recovery!

As for me, I had a lovely Sunday. It was sunny outside, and the birds were chirping.

I got to daydream and relax. I'm lucky, I know!

was your doctor a bishop, twist?

seriously, though. hope you're feeling better soon. :)

as for me, as it's the day after shabbat i spent it doing all the things i didn't do on shabbat: i.e. work.

Bishop?/ Too funny!!! But he did military service instead of Indian Reservation to pay off debt. I'll ask him why next time. Two years in Navajo country would be very rewarding.

Sunday was really good for me (Sorry Twist). my roller hockey team had a big victory that will probably put us into the playoffs. then it was the superclasico between Boca & River on fox soccer channel, it looked bad for boca, Until a late Penalty converted by Palermo gave them the draw, even though they deserved to lose at least 3-0. then it was a nice nap, followed by the Sopranos
