yeh, I can still remember it, it was San Jose featuring Rodriguez Argentina - "Argentine Melody"

Not strictly a TV theme tune but Colourbox's 'Unofficial theme tune' for the 86 world cup was a corker. Had it on 12". Now just have it on mp3.

Was that a TV show? And if it was, did they use the Isaac Hayes Shaft theme? 'Cos if that's the case, then Shaft definitely belongs in that top 5.

Can ya dig it? :shades:

Noticed no one has mentioned SNL; not the new crap but the original with eddie murphy, steve martin, john bolushi, chevy chase, etc. That was classic and has sent a whole bunch of look alikes (or is SNL a look a like of Monty Python?)

Are you saying the Green Acres theme song is in your top 5, or that the Green Acres theme is in your top 5? 'Cos this is a theme song thread, although perhaps I could've been more clear about that...

Are you listening, Mr. Pontiac? :shades:

Theme songs, of course, darrrrrling (that was my Eva Gabor impression).

It's hilarious from a Kafka-esque perspective!
