believe me, they ain't creed! the guy from creed sings like he has had his tongue removed--even worse than eddie vedder (sorry there, jack!).
they may not be soundgarden, but chris cornell's got an amazing voice and he ages like fine wine. i didn't think i'd like them at first; i thought they were a rebirth of the grunge movement, which i had firmly put to bed in the mid-'90s. but they're actually quite good and have more substance than today's cookie-cutter 'gosh i'm earnest' post-grunge bands. like creed.

They were soooooo worth the time my friend and I sent on the phone calling.

Good work, Jack! I saw Pearl Jam with Soundgarden and Ministry in '92. Now THAT was a concert. It's one thing to be a great band...it is another thing to be great in concert. PJ definietly sounds great live. You'll have an awesome time.

Sounds good man! I would love to be able to see Soundgarden, they're so good, don't think that's gonna happen though....Pearl Jam though! My favourite band in the world, I'm so excited I'm not gonna be able to wait till August...
Hopefully gonna get to another 2 shows on their proper European tour as well, and I still haven't given up hope on that Astoria gig!!! Fingers Crossed. :D

I can't wait for more bands to be announced!! The only bad thing about it is My Chemical Romance

Only one community point cos my computer couldn't handle it- old piece of junk that I have since replaced. It kept freezing and shutting down so it was taking ages. I think I voted in the third or so round - I honestly can't remember, I'll have a bit of a think.

Haha! Nah man he doesn't like Pearl Jam. Bought Ten when i first watched Wayne's World 2, when he's talking about the bands that are gonna play Waynestock, which was in like 2001, and it was the only Pearl Jam I had for a while, then in the last couple of years I decided to explore a bit more and now I own everything and they are my fave band ever.

Busted were always total shite, you cant really expect their taste to be any better than their music.
I never bummed them, I only had i bet you look good on the dancefloor, and so did everyone, so stop chattin man.

I don't get the Arctic Monkeys thing, either. They are NOT that great, and comparisons with Definetley Maybe are completley unfounded. To me it's just noise. Lacks craftmanship.

I need to be at this Astoria show!! This is so not fair seeing all those tickets on eBay for astronomical prices, some are on there for like over £700. I know I'm gonna be seeing them at Leeds festival, but that's not really any consolation cos this small gig is gonna be unbelievable. And it will probably never happen again.
All I can do is hope for the very late announcement of a second night at the Astoria, the 21st of April nobody is playing there, so it could happen I guess.
But it's just soooo painful, my favourite band in the world and I lose out because of a load of bastarding touts! 
Oh well. Here's to hoping I win a few grand on the Deal Or No Deal viewer's competition, which I'm gonna enter every day now.
