just knabbed a JX3P in tip-top shape for $150 american. anyone around here familiar with this thing? i can't seem to figure out how to switch from sequence to sequence...

well this one has me beat....i assume it's a Juno of some shape....sibling of the JX8P? (as heard doing explosions on PSB it's a sin and FGTH relax)
Sadly none of our roland kit has a sequencer so I'm not even broadly familliar with their usual methods.
I used to know what these were. Can't remember at the moment, though. Fortunately, I have info on the thing at home. If you're lucky, I'll have the answer to your question. Unfortunately, you won't get the answer to your question until tomorrow. Because it's at home...
have you googled it? a quick web seach reveals that there is some stuff availiable for it on-line.

already been there, and brushed up on the manual. i was looking for some user-insight 'round these parts since the vintage guys seem a little poncy... the best i can figure is that you have to load sequences from tape, but how does that work if you need to swap patterns in real time? or am i asking too much of the synth?
and mister campbell, where do you get all your "synths used" knowledge? i'd love to read-up on some of this stuff.

Do you have the programmer module? 'Cos maybe you can do it with that thingie...
that PG200 is just to give the knob-tweedlers something to gawk at... you can accomplish the samething with the "GroupA/GroupB + #" modification function... you just can't do it to more than one parameter at a time.
i guess imma gonna hafta deal with them poncers in fintage synf land.

Dunno our, juno6 is a bit older and it has digital oscilators.....easy way to tell....is the front panel covered in stuff called VCsomething?

OK 50 50 then. analogue filters and amps with digital oscilators and presumably the LFO would be digital also.
