Radio stations need to stop playing records months and months before they actually get released. Not only would this make buying the single more exciting for a fan of a band/artist, but it would also help stop the fact that with pretty much every single song reaches it's highest chart position during it's first week.
If we can get that fixed, I just need to work on my self control and stop myself downloading albums when they leak out onto p2p networks!
I totally agree. I used to do that with all the NO singles throughout the eighties, and then the policy changed, I think, after Fine Time. Must admit, if i'd bought 'Jetstream' before I'd heard it, I'd be upset.LOL
Now you hear songs six weeks in advance. Although that is what has sold 'Crazy', cos it is very good, to be fair to the artist.
