honestly, i prefer goths. they annoy the crap out of me, but pearl jam's 'i am so damn earnest' rock and eddie vedder's growly muttering through his teeth annoys me even more.
i really really don't know. it is like which do you hate less. ok goths. i can listen to soem of their music.
some of the original goth like music was good -siouxsie,cure,bauhaus but now goths seem to like really heavy rock type shit. i am quite captivated by goth women because of their dark hair. but pearl jam,no way so i voted goth

it's a fair enough thread, although i would title it grunge vs. goths. however, it seems that pearl jam are the only 'grunge' band left.

i often take it personally when people tell me they don't like new order (i even gave site members the name and general address of a friend of mine who hates the band and told them to do with him as they please) but you've got to keep it in perspective. one man's pearl jam is another man's michael bolton.
So, do I come on here talking about how shit Morrissey is, and other bands he says he likes like Ordinary Boys and Kaiser Chiefs?
