I dissaprove of Rose, and I dissaprove of sexuality of any kind in Dr Who, but Billie carried that off brilliantly. Personally I cannot wait for SJS to return if only briefly, that's a PROPER Englishwoman that is, a lady.
Sarah Jane Smith, companion not only to the One True Doctor, but to Pertwee as well. Not only her....but K9 will be back....there WILL be tears.

I loved K9, not so much the trundling around thing, but he's a sarcastic little cunt, especially to other computers...my fave line ever has to be just a bare faced and matter of fact "you are a very stupid machine". He's good in the audio series Gallifrey...cos K9 Mk1 left there with Leela and K9 MkII who came to galifrey with Romana upon her return from E-space, get to gang up :D
Apparently, the BBC being the BBC don't do things like everyone else....whereas any other tv company would have trundled K9 around in silence and dubbed all the sound later....the Beeb had him full wired for 2 way sound, so not only did he speak on camera, but his controller John Leeson(it was John wasn't it...I have a mental block and urge to say nick, but that was the scamming geezer) could hear from the BBC scanner van, what was being said TO K9.
So picture the scene......you have 100's of people watching the Dr being filmed and teabreak is called. Tom Baker promptly sits down and starts doing the Times crossword (aso a passion of Leeson's)...being used to the two way comms, he asked leeson via K9 "what do you think of 2 accross" and Leeson replied in perfect K9 from the scanner...."I believe the answer is $WHATEVER Master".
Needless to say the crowd ere a bit amazed.....lots of kids saying "told you he was real" and stuff.
As for the Brig. He is now General Sir Allister Gordon Lethbridge Stewart (rtrd), and holds the Dr's old gig of scientific advisor to Unit, which is under the command of some bint. They've already blown it but by not having him appear with Eccleston, it breaks his run of appearing with every Dr (tho only briefly on tv with Colin baker and only in Audio with McGann). I suspect he may appear in this spin off show they are talking about "torchwood"
