the receipe for a good baseball game

one drunk self one ticket for seat close to beer vending stand two team (rivals) one stadium full of drunken fans (both sides) one bag salted, unshelled peanuts

seat drunk self using ticket, mix with beer. slowly add peanuts over the course of the game, replacing beers when cups are empty. watch teams play game while fans taunt each other. eventually fans will come to boil, fights will ensue, and you get two shows for the price of one. drain excess liquids prior to making way for exit.

chris, i think the key is that flask. you'll need it.

A baseball game lasts over 2 hours. I'm used to watching them on TV though.

Look for The Philles mascot-The Philly Phanatic. Looks like a giant Muppett. He is actually quite fun and a real hoot

ok hey I am trying anything to help you on your forced baseball death march!!

I fucking HATE Genos.

  1. They are all "omg fry mumia" with all of those pro danny faulkner badges and tshirts. It's sickening
  2. even worse they serve the worst cheeseteaks in all of south philly. (being half dago from south philly myself I can testify to this in a court of law)

The Philly Phanatic is a different color now innit he? I forget, but I don't care about biesbol. :)

I'm also taking the friggin subway there which is great for not having to park, but ass for getting back to meet my regional rail in center city.

Indeed, Genos does suck. From what I remember, before I was a vegetarian, good cheesesteaks come from Ishcabibbles on South Street or D'Allesandro's, up in Roxborough. For a vegetarian cheese steak, I've gone to Gianna's, which is on 6th, right off South, but I don't know how good their regular steaks are.

As far as what to do at a Phillies' game, just cheer the other team. No matter who they are, they'll probably beat the Phillies, anyway. Or bring a book or a Walkman and listen to some New Order instead.

ok I will be quiet....and hey The Phanatic is green. the Orginal Phanatic., Dave Raymond, was a unter at Delaware. His dad, Coach Tubby raymond said years later "oh my god, I'm the father of a giant green transvestite

I thought the whole purpose of baseball games was to get liquored up.

And make funny cheers along the way!

Fill a flask with your favourite poison, a discman with your favourite NO songs and play it a few times with your eyes closed.

Sounds like heaven to me
