Can't see another Morrissey thread on page 1 so here goes...

Killing two off-topic birds with one stone, the Aberdeen Order went to see Morrissey tonight.

It was FAB - loads of smiths songs and some great ad-libs by Mozz.

Highlights:

  • They played Still Ill.
  • And How Soon is Now
  • The backing band wore brown shirts
  • I made a mistake when kissing Roy's bird :ignore:

Even before this, me and my mate had a great day:

  • Gambled on horses
  • Bought a car
  • Ate rare rib-eye with peppercorn tagliatelli
  • Nearly set the kitchen on fire preparing the above

So roll on Tuesday - Dundee :thumb:

Oh, that reminds me - Morrissey said that he's playing Sterling tomorrow and asked whether he should be afraid.

No, that's Tuesday Stephen!

Please stay the fuck off this thread unless you are Aberdeen Order or want to talk about Mozz - cheers!

Would this be the right time to say that at least you weren't trying to shag a sheep up there :uhoh:

As fer Morrissey, is that miserable bastard still denying everyone a hot dog with their pre-concert beer....cunt that he is!

Only ever saw him at the Manchester show for his birthday a couple of year back, great show and good to see a few Smiths songs getting played.

What's the new stuff like?

Oh and as for the Sheepshagging gag, my mam is Stonehaven Order BTW :thumb:

Hopefully none!

But he will, and at the moment How Soon is Now, Last Night, Girlfriend in a Coma are in the set list. Last Night I dreamt and Stop Me If You Think You've heard This One Before have also been played so far.

Apart from Stop Me... what a crap collection of Smiths songs.

As i said on Tuesday "MORE SOUTHPAW!"

and as i said on Thursday "NATIONAL FRONT DISCO!"

yes well i only just made it . I had to get off the coach in Perth as I was sick on myself twice. New jeans and t-shirt later I was as good as new. :\ohwell:

Liam- me and colin discussed that (although he probably doesn't remember!) that johnny marr doing smiths was better than moz doing smiths. I'd have liked it if he dropped GIAC and done reader meets authour twice........

I'm glad he did Girlfriend in a Coma.

That was a high point of the night for me.

Exactly one hour after doors opened no less!

I'll never forget that lad's look of anguish as he turned to face the room "There's no beer left!" and within 10 seconds the queues disbanded pretty swiftly  The VK Blues weren't as appealing to the Moz 'ardcore obviously.

Gary Day probably nicked the kegs! :nono:

I risked my life for warm Export though.........

Ally, we nearly got lost coming out of Edzell, and it felt like a Hammer House of Horror story......... who would you rather have met in a dark alley? Gary Day or that bird that kept pestering me

Gary Day er, any day!

She was a disgrace to Dundee! (Saying something that)

"Ooooooh, yer lovely, hold on to me tight Roy so ah dinne lose yer down the front!" :D

I was sure that ned (your burd's son I think) next to us was shouting for "The Smurfs" but it was actually just his Dundonian accent attemping "The Smiths". I'm sure I heard the following:

"PLAY THA FUCKEN SMURFS MORRISSAY!" "YER A FUCKEN POOFTAH MORRISSAY!"

Oh yeah, 'The Flash ned' as you affectionately entitled him, he was doing my head in. If he shouted Panic! once more I mught have believed him.....twat

Yes as one of the Colins' said, she might have not wanted to lose me, but I certainly wouldn't have been able to lose her......

you get the impression that if at the beginning of 'trouble loves me', when they played 'Loch Lomond intro' the dundee lot would have been happy just to sing that all night

scary stuff
