My dad surprised me by giving me his old record collection that's been boxed up since the era of chest wigs. Some very cool stuff in there, 1950's jazz, Motown, 60's psychedelia, even a KISS record thrown in for good measure!
There's also a few of mine from when I was a wee one. Strawberry Shortcake and Friends Sing-Along, anyone?

Don't kid, we've used the flumps and Ivor the Engine extensively, as well as the Mr Men and captain pugwash.
I kinda thought this thread would be "recently loaded NOOLette seeks crazy NOOLer to help her spend it".

my mother-in-low was on Rolling Stones-live here in Warsaw in 60's. Even today I can feel her rock'n'roll roots. I mean shes crazy hahaha

Actually, I wasn't crazy about Strawberry Shortcake...my favorite childhood album was the Alvin and the Chipmunks: a Chipmunk Christmas. I think I have the vinyl somewhere...

I think this actually might be my inheritance! Best hope that KISS album appreciates in value! 
Emma there's also a Chipmunks record or two in there, complete with story books I think. I appreciated multi-media as a child!
I inherited quite a few good vinyls. Pink Floyd - DSOTM, WYWH, Animals, The Wall Some Led Zep Lou Reed - Transformer a few Bowie albums some Yes and Wakeman albums
all I can think of right now
i inherited a fairly decent classical lp collection, and also some old Broadway musicals like porgy and bess original cast recording on lp.
I also got a very good classical collection on cd.
My inheritance isn't a decent record collection. It's the state quarters, which, if all come out before my mother dies, will amount to $12.50, unless they're worth more because of the pictures on the backs.

ha at least you all got records, i got 8 track tapes, all country music, with a couple of bee gees thrown in.
my dad was an old timer but he bought 8-tracks because he used to get them for like a quarter each at the flea market!
and he had an 8 track player in he old dodge dart!
