Feel sorry for Spurs... Food poisoning, missing out on 4th place, etc., but good to see West Ham with a bit of ruthlessness ahead of the FA Cup final... Come on you Irons!

Serve the fcukers right for 74/75 when they leapfrogged us and relegated us last day of the season by coming up against a Leeds team who stuck their reserves out cos they were in a European Final the following week. Spurs won 4-1. Only game all season they scored 4. Leeds rolled over. And it was unheard of in those days for a team to put out a second XI in any game.

Oh, small point of trivia. I believe Spurs have set a Premiership record this season for least number of games played. 38 in the league, none in Europe and I think they got done in the first round of both domestic cup competitions.

It completely ruined my bet. I figured West Ham would be resting up for the FA Cup and the Spurs would play hard to maintain 4th place and Champions League.

I suspect Arseholenal fans were behind the food poisoning. I get the feeling a lot of other people lost money on this match.

Arsenal won their game, Spurs lost- we got 4th place END of.

Spurs are a much better football team these days- but still don't cut the mustard.

We all know they wouldn't have lasted past the first round in Europe. FACT!

I thought football teams had their own chefs these days anyway! :shrug:

on about the fourth page of todays Daily Manc, they showed a close up of the SPurs dugout yesterday. at the back right of Danny Murphy and Whatshisname Reid, there was a big roll of Andrex Toilet paper on the dugout ledge. classic!!

Only point I'll disagree on, Miss Bonzette. We don't know how they would've done next year, what with transfers, etc that's why they play the matches. Actually Green, i have to fess up. Through all of this, and no secret that i really hate Spurs, i was actually thinking of you this morning and i did feel a bit bad for you because you're a well alright Spurs fan, and you always take things really well.

Just wanted to say, no hard feelings AT ALL towards you when i slate them.
