I have adopted the stance of best player I have ever seen and so as much as I would like to say Best or Pele the best I ahve ever seen was Maradona- a player who single handedly won a world cup for a very average side

I heard that Pele's '1000 goals' included youth team goals and all that.
Fuck me, i scored at least 5000 in the playground at school. Not to mention hundreds more at 'heads 'n volleys' in the park ![]()
But I'll draw the line at goals during free kick practice whilst walking dogs.
I only heard of Pele and George Best. But according to what I have read in posts/threads concerning football, I don't know who to pick and I don't care. I'm only a Yank who cares about baseball and college basketball.
Eddie Gray is the best player I have seen in all the years I have watched footie.
Certainly better than a cheating fat bastard argie midget ![]()
