seems as though people are making up their own rules as they go along. this is what confuses me!

the film thread was : name, movie, name, movie, etc.

this thread has had name, band, name, band, singer, song, band, song, similar-sounding song...what's the deal?

Well, the thread starter has band, singer, band, singer, singer... I just assumed there had to be some connection between the 'artistes', rather than any sepcific pattern... I know NOTHING about films, so haven't looked at the movie game...

I'm just disappointed we didn't veer off on the Happy Mondays, Tuesday Afternoon theme. Here's the rest of the week: Wednesday Morning 3am (S&G) Thursday (Croce) Friday On My Mind (Easybeats) Saturday's Alright For Fighting (Sir EJ) Sunday Morning (Velvets) and back to Manic Monday (Bangles) Sadly I have all of these choons.

Now, how about starting with Inspiral Carpets and going through links to bands named after other soft furnishings?

Ok, got that off my chest. Carry on as you were.

Sofa Surfers... Then, still on a domestic theme, but moving outside: Ned's Atomic Dustbin...

Bands named after animals would be another good one...

1 The DOORS (if only to Light My FIRE in The Soul KITCHEN) 2 STEPS (UK pop, reinvented Bee Gees' Tragedy for the 90s) 3 RADIATORS From Space (70s punk) 4 Electric CHAIRS (Wayne County's band)(best song F*** Off) 5 When I'm Cleaning WINDOWS (George Formby, very popular UK singer/songwriter/ukelele player/film star)(I kid you not!)(mentioned on another NOOL thread?) 6 BEDS Are Burning (Midnight OIL)(fantastic Oz band) 7 And let's not forget Elton's CURTAINS or Marvin Gaye's CENTRAL HEATING (MG fans, it's a joke)

I'm so sorry. Going for a rest now.............

Right!!!!! for the last effin time! :D

Name a group or a singer, then the next person has to name someone who has worked with them...

Ill give you nother example-a long one so there is no confusion! (ive got a headache now).

Johnny Marr (played on Talking Heads` album Naked)

Talking Heads (produced by BRIAN ENO)

who also produced U2,who also made a record with Mary J blige.

I wanted it to be hard, but i had no idea it would seem this hard. Its all about your musical knowledge.

Good Luck,i think you`ll need it! :D
