a kind of "What could i be listening to now?" thread if you like...

CD. Thom Yorke "The Eraser".

Ok, been listening to that PSB new album a lot lately. 'Psychological' is a Depeche Mode rip off, haha. Anyone care to disagree?

Agree with the book absolutely, but can you explain the appeal of the movie, I honestly didn't find any appeal to any of the characters?

I recommend toasting some bread. I didn't own a toaster for about nine years and recently got one. Now I've been toasting like Shabba-fookin-Ranks!! Some Jamaican humour for ya  :nonono:

I think that's the desired effect, anyone who's grown up in a small town that's going nowhere will recognize the folks that surround the central character and his lady friend. I'm not saying that makes it a great movie (I liked it, but that's just me).

Anyway, see Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption on ESPN's afternoon block (unless there's a baseball game on). Great TV for those of us who miss the hot-temper debate of Crossfire and can't stand the pandering on Fox News.

Sorry, but wasn't impressed with jarhead. Actually none of the Marines I work with care for the movie. Guy's a whinner and an idiot. . .the bad part of the movie is, people will watch it and think they are seeing the life of a Marine. With movies like that and Full Metal Jacket who needs bad press?

Go hear. sign up, tell it where you live. then click on "iridium flares" The iridiums are a series of satellits with unusually feckin big and reflective solar panels. And when they hit a certain angle in the sky....it's like a small sun appearig in the middle of the night ( in fact they are often bright enough to see in daylight). Seriously you need to see one to believe it. It's good to know one is coming and have an accurate watch and a victim

Saucer nuts are the best fodder but you may have to kill them afterwards for not believing what it really is.

If you need help with it lemme know.

REALLY cool.

It also has times to see the ISS and other prominent orbital equipment.
