Re:Order's version of The Vikings theme
Fookin OFFICER thinking!
As an aside.... I always fancied "March of the Oysters" from Stingray as a walk on and "Skyship one" from the movie Thunderbird 6 to leave to. grab em up in your peer to peer theft device of choice you'll see what i mean, tho I admit I do have a boner for Barry Gray's music. Cos we always played clubs with dj's we hardly ever got to fook around like that...tho a few times we just cut the decks off and played in the entire "you go in the cage, cage goes in the water" scene from jaws while we fired up the shit. Sorry, i ramble.

I would say it but the gag would be lost as no one on this thread would hear me.
and as a fellow pedant I appreciate the detail in your enquiry - I once spent an afternoon 'vox-popping' the residents of harrow with the question: "would you say bald men make good lovers?" and not one person gave us the required response
dave : here is the re: order version of the vikings theme - we've used it as our intro music a couple of times now Black Pig 12" only version
and this is what we look for when we get to the venue
(though surely it should be 'longboats only'?)
and BRF... funnily enough I just found this screen grab of the street map of redcar in our online nool folder. it's from a message to you a long time back, I obviously thought it was funny that if we did get a gig there we would actually have to use a longboat to access the venue...
oh my, such comedy pearls!

do you think if I'd made it myself I would have spelt it 'strickly'? obviously the blokes at the viking chip shop spelt it in phonetic watfordese for us locals. btw they don't serve whale meat - I think that's just a design thing.
Why the fook have we got a map of that bastard monkey hanging shithole Hartlepool.
Bootraceface lives in Redcar, down the road. Like calling a mackem a geordie![]()

That's not the chippy that does deliveries is it? Milky used to live in Watford and I couldn't get over the fact you could ring up and order fish & chips and someone would bring it round... far posher that east london where you have to go and queue for it..
We know the score Andrew...
Another thing if we are talking Redcar...Redcar was given its name by The Vikings![]()
Shed point/Viking badge/Angel badge of the player's choice to the first to give the meaning of REDCAR in Viking..
So there you see facsimile, the longboats employed your tactics to good effect once before..![]()

Too slow.....Click on the link,go on!
"THE SCARS" as oppossed to Al's Tattoo, which would be "The Scab" for the next couple of days

The Scars(rocks) are regularly plundered for crab, raped for lobster and pillaged for mussels, and rightly so.
Pillage before you burn down...........the 'true' words of a 'real' viking.....I know this, because Terry Wogan said it this morning........funnily enough, he didnt mention tattoos. He leaves that to the Royal Guard.....![]()

Redcar..home of the world's first Lifeboat....It's all explained in the link BA.
Actually on second look you might be onto something![]()
Redcar probably just means "Scars" in Viking..
'Don't call me Scarface'.........doo doo doo doo, dooodooo doo doo do.......'
'Don't interrupt while I'm talking...........'
Who said Vikings had anything to do with 'Gangsters'.....don't be fooled by appearances!

I've known all my life that Redcar was named by the Vikings..But our dad told us it meant Redswamp. What a lying cunt he turned out to be!

if you look closely at the map (admittedly not of redcar) you'll see that the point where streetmap thought redcar was, is in the north sea - illustrated by an arrow. that was the comedy element of the image but I was unclear in my reasoning for showing this picture.

Yeah, sent those bottles raining down on those Luton heads... ![]()
It's weird cos I don't actually care that much about this whole rivalry, it's just amusing that two such insignificant places can hate each other with such a passion... I suppose it gives both towns a positive self-image, by doing the other down... I mean, having lived in Watford for 20-odd years, I can't think of too many good things to say about it... ![]()
