Hang on a minute - I recognise that blonde bird - she's that singer who used to be in Dubstar (a sort of Smithsy, Pet Shop Boysy, Kirsty MacColl-ish combination) isnt she? Am I right?

Our Lorraine has that first album of theirs "Disgraceful" - with that naughy cover of a pencil case opened like a vagina - and it's pretty good isnt it?

So Client is her new band then? Wondered what had happend to her when Dubstar called it a day.

Yer right, that is the lovely Sarah Blackwood of Dubstar fame :love2:

I've got Disgraceful, Goodbye and The Best Of Dubstar and they're all pretty good albums. I guess they decided to disband once they'd musically run their course which was very wise; their sound did have a bit of a shelf life. Not So Manic Now, Stars and Elevator Song are still classic synthpop singles though.

Strangely, she's gotten better looking as she's gotten older! Maybe it's the short, tight leather dresses in a sweaty gig environment that's changing my mind :D oooooh yes.

The other bird's not bad either, ex-Creation boss Alan McGee's wife innit? She had a very New Order-ey sounding band called Technique before Client didn't she? Probably not a coincidence with the name there...

Am I the only person that doesn't get the attraction? Stick any burd in that rig out and she's gonna turn heads but her face is nothin special. She wouldn't pass the "just outta bed wearin joggy bottoms and an oversized t-shirt" test! Wouldnae mind a better swatch at the dark haired one though.

Yes I must confess they look like big butch girls in nice dresses. Take away the sexy outfits and you're not left with much. Which raises the question, are they any good or do they need to dress like this to get anyone to pay attention. cos so far I have heard more discussion of their doability than their compositional strengths, relative instrumental abilities and musical vision....then again this is NOOL, I'll be waiting a while for that kind of thing.

Indeed, Client A does look like she's got a bit of a pot in one side profile.

But really, BIG BIRDS?!

That pair only top 5ft6 when they're in huge heels and there ain't an ounce of spare on them. The giraffe they've got at the back (not many close-ups of her) has as much fat on her as one of my coat-hangers. She's good 5ft10, but the correct weight for a 4ft school-girl. A 4ft school-girl with an eating disorder.

I am.. it's called "girl".

I said "too heavy for that outfit". she could weigh 9 stone and still be heavy for the dress if it was made for someone thinner.

it doesn't mean fat :P

Even in general heavy doesn't mean fat. Fat is obese heavy is just chunky

Didn't spot this before. Sarah and Kate were actually briefly Technique together too. I think Technique had a huge support slot for Depeche Mode somewhere and the other blonde who fronted Technique fuct off so Kate had to ring round other singers to take her place. And happened upon Sarah. So, they did one tour as Technique, then changed their name to Client as an ongoing venture.

Depeche Mode fans: aside from Client being on Andrew Fletcher's record label, Fletch appeared in their video "Client" and Martin Gore does backing vocals on the second album "City". I think it was the song "Pornography" he did the back-up vocals on. I like Client, "Rock & Roll Machine" is one of the catchiest tunes i've heard in a long time.
