Well, I'm enough of an Alice in Chains fan to know that after Layne died, he spent two weeks mouldering on the couch before someone found him. And I do seem to remember being one of the first on this board to observe his death. Not that it matters calling him a stain on the couch anyway. Same way I would glibly remark about the hole in Kurt "vastly overrated" Cobain's head, or Barney would mention Ian Curtis hanging around the kitchen.
