Try the "poundshop" in most towns everything a quid... I picked up a Chris Eubank DVD in there...5 pack of re-writable CD's for a pound aswell.

I know a lass who buys items like tin openers from poundland, and sells them on ebay(to people in rural areas I'd imagine)who don't have a nearby poundshop, for a profit. Could'nt be arsed with it myself, but she says she makes a bit out of it..

you can get poo on your hands... let me explain.

I used to have an apartment with a big window overlooking a busy shopping district, a very well to do one at that. For shits and giggles, no pun intended, we used to play, "poo dollar" If you hav'nt figured it out, we would put poo in a dollar, fold it up, drop it on the side walk, and wait. 10 out of 10 times, hilarity ensued.

You're obviously not familiar with Family Dollar where you buy any item for a buck (plates, cups, chips, forks, towels, etc.)

Aside from walking into a dollar store, I can buy 2 coconut or pineapple sodas for a $1, a 1 tie at a thrift store, a ride on the bus, and a cup of coffee.

You also used to be able to buy two Tasty Kake pies for a dollar.

Amazing fun can be had by using heaby duty paste to attach a note, or serious contact adhesive to attached a coin...firmly to the pavement. Pound cois are less than ideal however, being quite thick they offer the struggling victim too great a chance of winning.

The best ever was When we varnished over a fiver so they couldn't even touch it......thought for sure it'd be a no go, but you;d be amazed how fast varnish dries in an outside breeze.

Sometimes the local store has a malt liquor called Steel Reserve 211, in a 24 oz silver can, on sale for a dollar. Tried it when I was low on cash, 8.1 alcohol content can give ya a quick buzz, but it's definitely not the smoothest lager out there.......:spit::sick: ....and I don't drink it anymore.

You could buy the following for a pound:

  1. Can of Tennant's Super with 18p change

  2. A couple of cigarettes from a kid in the park

  3. A joint from the local twats on the estate (make sure it's not oregano though)

  4. A dustpan and brush that breaks on the way home before you even get a chance to use it

  5. Three pairs of socks that get holes in, first time you wear them

  6. A single condom in the pub machine (if you're single, why bother?)

  7. Two fifty pence pieces

  8. A song from iTunes (75p)

  9. Five assorted packs of noodles for one at my local corner shop

10.Any Gareth Gates CD single in Woolworth's bargain bin

Are any of those helpful?
