Bought this today and all i can say is what an album!
i've only listened to it twice but i'd say its the best of the American Recordings series by far.
I don't like to use the word legend much, its reserved for Patrick Stewart, but i'll openly use it on this man, a talent sadly missed in the shit world of contempary pop and all the rest of the crap thats out there.
Quite looking forward to V, totally agree with your last statement as well.
In the American Recordings series, there's always a track or two that I hardly ever play (not that fond of Personal Jesus or Rusty Cage, for two), but tracks such as I See A Darkness or the title track from IV floor me.
I worship The Man Comes Around as an album, particularly Hurt and I Hung My Head, so I'm really looking forwrad to American v.
