Anyone fancy going seeing Lightning Seeds and The Wonder Stuff in Blackburn on 22nd? Witton Country Park I think, and its the right price- i.e Free.

Grant, Spud, you both live nearby, whats the nearest quality boozer? I sense an all dayer.

i went last year - undertones were on so i enjoyed it.dont fancy anyone who's on much this year and i am my sister's engagement do in manc night before but i might still consider going

And is it near any decent boozers?

its not in the town centre,its a big park out in the posh end of town :laugh: just a walk up the road though,or maybe a taxi from town after a few beers.there's a couple of pubs nearby but cant recall what they are called for now.they usually have a beer bar on all day in the park as well. not really sure yet if i'll go or not. monty - isnt this the day of your mates wedding ??

update - ian brodie WILL be there with lightening seeds,tom whatshisname from inspiral carpets WILL be there with his band. i WILL be there with woman and lagers :nod:

was good do to say it was FREE good band from nottingham on alternative stage called ermm 1st story (i think).polytechnic were good.i could not wait for wonderstuff to get off,there stuff is fucking awful. well done to ian brodie and lightening seeds,they put on a great crowd pleasing set of hits and ended with a sing along to 3 lions of course :thumb:
