Is anyone lucky enough to live somewhere with a sea view?

If so where?

My partner's parents own a holiday house in Cornwall, few miles from Land's End... Quiet village, nice boozers, sea-view, some great walking in the area... Would love to retire there... :thumb:

My parents were looking for property in the Carolinas, anything with a view of the ocean. Couldn't afford that. Expanded their search to anything with a view of a body of water:lake, river, pond, creek, muddy puddle. Still coudn't afford it. They'll either have to settle for the mountains for put in a swimming pool if they want a view of the water.

I'd settle for a 25meter swimming pool as an alternative.

I miss the sea and need to move back there to see it every day - mass feelings of nostalgia creeping in. :)

I just wish they could have afforded a house with the real thing, then I'd have a good excuse to visit often. :thumb:

I had a nice patch of beachfront property, right down on the coast and with a great view of the surrounding landscape and all the "touristy" hotels and hotspots, down on Myrtle Beach (SC's main holiday spot) :smoking:

But then the tide came in, and took my cardboard box with it :(

 With all their friends and associated family members, it's tricky enough trying to get down there myself... And as for trustworthy NOOLers...
