So What does Eddie sing in that bit in Black? searching Google for lyrics isn't helping much as it seems Eddie has a touch of the Barneys in forgetting/changing lyrics.

How come the words in the music books are wrong?

Well, Eddie Vedder's lyrics are hard to decipher, and like everyone, music books get them wrong. The tab is usually correct, but lyrics, use your best judgment. Also, keep in mind that the band improvises a lot during their live performances. Eddie sometimes changes lyrics to songs (i.e. Yellow Ledbetter). So, if you do try and transcribe lyrics yourself, you should try to transcribe the studio version if you want to transcribe "official" lyrics.

Jack do you have official lyrics from some where? I'm gonna need the lyrics and the source if I'm going to prove her wrong.

Because I typed official black song lyrics into Google not Pearl Jam official website, so loads of pointless crap came up And stuff about how you don't get official lyrics....as I posted above.
