We stayed in Kardamena which is the main livliest place together with Kos Town. I think where you're staying is called Tingaki. Nice beaches there but very quiet. I'll mail you some more details.

...it has been said that the sunsets in Santorini are the best in the world. From the Caldera breathtaking views of the volcano & neighbouring islands(taken from http://www.santorini.com/) Santorini based on a valcano area. Its really amazing the way the houses built on this island. If you don't care to lay on black seasides (not so many-there are 4 or 5 choises)and to not see any tree at all then you don't have any problem at all. For me is a must see place for sure especially for couples - there is lot of noise and night life but not like Mykonos - thats why i'm saying for couples. http://www.santorini.gr/ http://www.greek-tourism.gr/santorini/indexuk.htm http://www.santorini.com/http://www.santorini.net/home.html
forgot to say that after big islands like Crete-Rhodes-Corfu i think that Santorini and Mykonos are really gfreat choises. Wish to have the same plans as you really really soon-i need vacationsssssssss
