My cousin Lisa just had her baby, and I called it: it's a girl :thumb:

To be fair, it was a fifty/fifty shot

But anyway...I think they were planning on naming it Bailey if it was a girl. My choice would have been "Belle", if only so I could refer to my cousins "Belle and Sebastian" (their first kid, born almost two years ago) :p

You do know the origin of "Belle and Sebastien" right?

Belle is a DOG ;)

Wasn't it some cartoon show in the 80s that lasted about a week?

Oh, and congrats on the new cousin T#7. :)

It lasted more than this over here..

Once again Wikipedia to the rescue... :thumb:

I do not like Bailey. I think they should take you suggestion and go with Belle!

Phew. After re-reading it, i realise they didn't actually call/name it "It's a girl".

My favourite pastime at the moment is reading the baby pages of the Bolton Evening News and laughing at some of the ridiculous names that the Chavs are choosing.

I'm sure most of them are made-up. I will start making a note and post them. You really won't believe how awful these names are.

I'll be looking forward to that. I could use a good laugh.

If I ever have a kid, I'll name him Genghis Atilla. Nobody will mess with him then!

Didn't seen any Adolph since the 40's... I wonder why.

I think Saddam might also be less popular.. although Oussama did well recently I think.

Some of Hitler's family (don't remember the exact relation, nephew perhaps) moved to the US just after WW2, and wisely changed their last name. Oddly enough though, named their first child Adolph!

I remember this one! It seemed to be on forever. Can't remember how it ended, though; did they ever find Seb's mum?

whoo hoo. That's great. Health, happiness and cigars allround to the family. Think that Bailey is Snazzy + Beautiful name. Also sounds nice with Sebastian as the older brother.

Yeah, I knew at some point they lived in the Hamptons, or thereabouts. Friends of yours? :evil4:

I love how this discussion turned into one about Hitler's kin :skeptic:

Anyway, the name is Aurora Bailey Seigler, but as we come from the south and would pronounce it "Auwuwa" I think most everyone will end up calling her Bailey. Hopefully I get to meet her today :thumb:

If it had been a boy, the leading contender was "Corbin"

Much like TV's Arnie Becker, Corbin Bernson

So yeah, I'm glad it's a she :thumb:

Then you've never see the classic late Seventies sitcom about the goings-on of a certain WKRP in Cinncinati(sic) :D

Because that was the name of "the other female" other than Loni Anderson :thumb:

I'm guessing that's where they got the name from

My new cousin, that is. Not the actress who played Bailey on WKRP :p
