right, I'm being a right lazy bastard today, the telly was tuned in to VH1 Classic when I plopped my ass on the couch, and the remote is on the coffee table, which means I would have to actually sit up to reach it...

anyways, the video for Master and Servant just came on, and I'm thinking, this could possibly be the worst video I have ever seen...

any other nominations?

its mind boggling how many bad videos there are, thousands upon thousands that are equally bad, it makes it hard to pick just one.

sometimes a favorite song can end up with an awful video because expectations are high.

massive attack's teardrop comes to mind

I'd say the video for D.M's See You is far worse than Master And Servant, but that may also be due to the former song being such a twee, sickly bastard.

Ashlee Simpson's La La (the one where they end up jumping around and partying in a..... laundromat?????? :wtf:

What about the one on the yacht.........RIO?? Yeah that was it. I think it was Le Bon (?) who was sick........what made the video bad was that they didn't show that bit. Also never figured out why the girls had green faces? Spose it was something to do with the sick......... ALSO how many sailors have you seen in two tone silk suits and ties? Shite.

How is Master and Servant a bad video? You get to see Alan Wilder and Martin Gore in leather, all chained up. Dave does have a mullet though. DM's worst video is probably "Just Can't get enough." Just standing around on a sound stage playing, with ugly girls in worse hair cuts dancing around them.

Not the worst video of all time, though. That'll probably go to that Hasselhoff version of "Jump in my car," which I accidentally stumbled upon. It's creepy to say the least. You can see the Hoff just sucking in his stomach and hiding his chest hair.

Can't remember worse ones.

Andy Bell and Vince Clarke dressed up as the ABBA gals. Great cover song, video gave me willies for a while.

Elvis Costello's 'Oliver's Army' - the vocal syncing on that thing is awful!

Bowie's "Let's Dance" - wanted to give him a few slaps.

Rolling Stones "She Was Hot" though if I recall, that girl was hot - the video was cheesy.

A lot of dance videos were pretty lame, especially when all they featured were a handful of dancrs and some dude or chick singing the lyrics, framed in a completely white room in black and white outfits or something. C+C Music Factory, I'm looking at you.

The Cure's video for Killing an Arab seems to strike in my mind as sucking, too.

I dunno, trying to recall old videos is making my brain hurt.

Is that the one featuring Liz Fraser? That's an ace video if it is,the one with the singing embryo?

One does spring to mind...and it's more recent! That bloody SUNSET STRIPPERS- Shooting Stars, not only ripping off Boy Meets Girl' "Waiting For A Start To Fall" but shite video of women prancing around a launderette. And there's not even a glimpse of Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in it.
