I loved that song, thought it was better than China in your hand. However, they did have several other 'hits' so they can't really be one hit wonders. I will let you off though because i like your avatar :shades:

Aztec Camera-Somewhere in My Heart

And Good Morning Britain would make them 2 hit wonders, but that was as much Big Audio dynamite as Aztec Camera....

Awesome! Love the electric boogieing little white kid... and the Haçienda stripes on the boombox!

They also did a track called "I Want it to be Real" if I remember correctly. Another Arthur Baker classic.

Some of these may have been more than one hit wonders outside the US, though.
Come On Eileen is probably my favorite one hit wonder. :thumb:

Devo wasn't a one hit wonder in the US!

God.. These songs are sooo bad ;)

I've seen them on one hit wonder compilations. Whip It hit #14 in the US. Their only other top 50 was Working in a Coal Mine at #43. Close enough. Surprised Freedom of Choice didn't chart higher.

anyway

Modern English - I Melt with You

That song is still used constantly in commercials and things..

I love that song! :thumb: How could I have forgotten about that?? OK, it's tied with Come on Eileen as my favorite one hit wonder.

Hey, now, what about Der Kommissar, Vienna Calling, and Jeanny? True, though, most Americans these days would probably consider him a one hit wonder.

Falco (see my post above) in German then After the Fire did a cover in English. After the Fire were definitely a one hit wonder!
