Des Tierney and some American girl who really doesn't like or care about football and is just a hanger on--you can tell by the spectacularly well performing and popular side she supports. ![]()
This is really exciting for your lot. Unfortunately, DiDi might not be there....but still, I think it would be good fun all around.
I think it's pretty great that Psycho heard about this stipulation of a deal 7 years back and did what he could to keep it. He's world class. The future will hold that he's going to go down as one of the great English managers, and I'm glad that he's earning his stripes sort to speak as manager at City.
I'm about as Blue as it's possible to be living up in the North of Scotland.
However, I will see at least one game this year - been invited to Old Trafford to sample the most famous prawn sandwiches in the world!

City's supposedly concentrating on "keeping the academy strong and moving some of our young boys to first team" ala micha richards and bwp and flood..and the club fucking sells them--well not richards but you see what I mean. I don't necessarily agree with concentrating on moving kids up even if City's Academy is (supposedly) top notch right now....but if you're going to commit yourself to doing that then do it instead of fucking getting shot of the brightest young stars.
At least DiDi will be fucking gold for City--definitely save city from relegation this year. I'm getting so pumped for this season.

(unless your team plays in the SPL)
Or your starting keeper gets two shots on goal playing midfield

That Shaleum Logan's got some promise though, could well make the breakthrough into the first team this season.

Sturridge too... the next wayne rooney--which means he'll leave his club the second the flash comes in as well...
Unfortunately, City's first team is not big enough or good enough to support the talent of its Academy when those kids break through.
If Logan or Sturridge (maybe he's still too young) do get some first team play this season--they'll be at a better club next year. Unless City can build on the raw talent and perform better--You'd not make much money if you bet 'em to get relegated this year (though the odds got longer when DiDi was signed).
Shit, the only reason we've not lost Joey Barton yet is because he's a fucking dirty scouser with a racist murdering family and a penchant for assaulting with cigars.
