There hasn't been a poll in a couple of days and I decided to start this one because I thought the results might prove to be interesting.

I've read the rules at some forums but i haven't bothered with this one. For the most part, it just takes courtesy and common sense to fit in at most online communities, including this one. And I think I can figure that out without reading a set of rules telling me how.

I've read them...

on more than one occasion...

i've read them once or twice.

yep! after spotto Emailed me one time.

No, I read a bit of it a couple of years ago, but that was all.

i'm pretty sure i've browsed them at some point

Nope, never read them. And don't think they're worth the paper they're written on. Er, or the screen they're typed on.

Should be fcuking obvious to anyone with half an IQ how you should, or shouldn't behave, but people are gonna step over the guidelines time and time again. We all know the basics - no racism, no sexism, etc, etc - but half the posts on this forum could be construed, certainly, as sexist, a lot of the time. You just know when to draw the line. If you obeyed the community guidelines to the letter of the law there'd be fcuk all of interest left, on this forum at least.

Yeah, I've read them, but only to find out which of the rules Seb thought it was I'd broken when he banned me in 2002!

As Al says, it's pretty much common sense really.

I did read them ages ago.......Not that I could remember them all though; I trust that my ass will get moderated if I step over any lines, so I don't worry about it.

What's wrong with being sexy?

Honestly, er no.

Would have thought it would be common sense really.

(Not that i have an ounce of that)

No,i`ve never read it. As long as you follow the rules of decent civil people you cant really go wrong. Just avoid using racist or nationalist remarks and always be aware that you can always take what someones said the wrong way.

Skimmed it. Does that count?

Hmnmm. An Honesty Poll. With conditionals attached. Dislike conditions.. ! But yes I did read them in *January. First noticed Spotnick's thread over on the Digital Republic side. A thread- started in February 2004 that had over 2'000 views ! an no replies.

The When In Rome -Do as The Romans Do Idea + Curiosity Killed the Cat. Idea behind it all to see if there was anything that might be out of the ordinary as to what is considered acceptable behaviour. Also didn't expect to Hang around here or stay for a while. When I first signed in.

All people answering no.. expect spam in your mailbox soon :evil4:

I don't think *I* read them actually... it's mr laywer Sebastien that stole them somewhere and I adapted them to this website. I only quote them because I know the rules in there, but did I read them entirely... I don't think so.

As Al said, it's common sense... respect is the key.

I know slapping is code for lynching. I can't seem to remember if bitches mean blacks and sluts mean Arabs or if it's the other way around. Maybe the code is in the Terms of Use. I'll go check. See you at the meeting. :whip:

You should see the rules they wanted to use! It's all about the context, he's made himself the victim so it's okay.
