I saw the ads and it made me wonder if Perrier sales would actually increase among the NASCAR crowd.
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

I have to say, even though it looks stupid as hell...it also looks like it will be pretty damn funny ![]()
After all, you don't look to Will Ferrell to star in an Oscar Wilde play ![]()
Hmm, I seem to have a fever...
Will is usually pretty good but I get the feeling this may be only slightly better than Bewitched. The trailers just don't seem all that funny. Then again, I might be completely off. Wonder Bread and Perrier are certainly hoping it's a hit.
I didn't see Pirates of the Caribbean, but most critics didn't like it and yet it did amazing well at the box office.
Nascar.....soon to be the home of Juan Pablo Montoya, scourge of F1, CART and F3000, I cannae wait.
Dale earnhart: "they'll make that HANS device compulsory over my dead body"
LOL...no problem then mate.
The beauty is that he'd have lived if he'd worn one.
Talladega was made by the same people who made Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgendy and The 40 Year Old Virgin, probably the two funniest movies of 2004 and 2005 respectively, so I have to give this a shot ![]()
I'll see it eventually. It looks like the same type of weird, dumb humor from Anchorman, which I thought was pretty good.
I love Will, but anchorman, though it had some funny moments , sucked! the 40 year old virgin was great though, im not too sure about thisone, i will probably see it though

Anchorman was just plain weird at times, but I thought it was pretty good. I liked 40 Year Old Virgin, but for some reason it was wasn't as good as I expected. from the commercials, I thought it would be hilarious.

I take Wedding Crashers over 40-year-old Virgin.

Nascar would also be the perfect place for Paul "Pinball" Tracy... probably one the most dangerous drivers alive.

Let's be honest here.. problem with those movies is that they should you all the good jokes in the previews.
So it's either drive-in or DVD for me... and I hate Will Ferrell.. except maybe in Old School.

Old School is the best thing Will Ferell has done!
I'll wait for the DVD on Talledega Nights, too.

It will be intersting to see how JPM does. However, he does have a litte experience. Remember when he and Jeff Gordon traded rides for that SpeedTV special?
From looking at the previews and trailers, I doubt I'll see it since it does not look like my type of movie. I might catch it when it hits the pay channels, but only if there is nothing else on.

If I remember correctly, Jeff Gordon did rather well and Juan Pablo wasn't so hot.
According to a local newspaper here... Jacques Villeneuve is officially done in F1 and has a conditionnal contract already signed for Nascar... he'd be in Busch with Montoya next season (and live in Montreal, where there will be a race for the first time)
Seems a lot of info, I wonder if it's any true!

I thought ANCHORMAN was hysterical. "I killed a newsman.....with a Trident!"
Was a bit surprised to see both Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton, Jr. being interviewed on Larry King last night. Funny stuff, plus John Reilly, err, Cal, got in a "See you in hell, Waltrip!" blast at the end of the show as they went to commericals.
