eh. And if you've left your Heart overseas, would like to be somewhere else. Places that you'd like to travel to. Like to use a Flag of Convenience to register the ship to avoid paying the Taxes.

How about "imaginary countries you made up when you were bored in history class"? Moronica, the Republic of Pete, Germancetia and the Holy Shit Empire are under-represented here :evil4:

Just kidding, Spotty :thumb:

Could you please add North Korea Spotnick? It's my favourite flag. For now I will make do with Vatican City. Hail Hail.

malawi's my favourite, but it's too hard to see its true beauty in such a small space.

I think the flags are unnecessary but I quite like the American flag so I'm conflicted on the issue.

Whatever floats yer boat

Still talking about flags, have you heard about the guy who graded the flags of the world? His website is hilarius.

I think it's quite amusing to live in the independent nation with the worst flag.

i think i've worked out my problem with this flag thingy. I represent myself here and not Australia, so I'd rather not have a flag against my name.

Just makes want to hear Eddie Izzard "oh you have a Flag????"

In the old South Africa there used to be an official "flag song" that was sung at ceremonies etc - anybody know of another country that has something similar?

Yes. Besides the national anthem, Brazil has a "flag anthem" and an "independence anthem" too.

For the love of god... anybody putting non-sense countries in their profile, I'll have to scrap it...

You're all screwing up the member profile browser and the statistics... :nono:

I suppose you could say the US National Anthem is pretty much a "flag song" of sorts(The Star-Spangled Banner).

Scrap it then - nobody wants the fookin' flags anyway! They serve no purpose after all, it doesn't matter where someone comes from. The only thing that matters is that they are also strangely fond of this Mancunian ensemble that make good records!

With the St George flag, Tim's could be at a National Front rally in that greeen clobber.

I agree. As I've posted earlier, it's already possible to determine what country a poster is from by their location, so I think the flags are unnecessary.:read:

Don't worry, this guy is an idiot anyway. This idiot gave Libya a B. Libya's flag is nothing but fucking green! I could have come up with that!
He rates Liberia's flag higher than the US, even though it is an exact duplicate except for having one star instead of 50 (one for each US state). This is one person with too much time on his hands. Actually, I kinda like Brazil's flag.
He gave Bhutan a D+, and they have a dragon. What's cooler than a dragon?! I also like some of the African flags with the spear & shield. Maybe I'm the idiot for spending more than 30 seconds looking at that website.

there is only one flag that is one colour - & that's all green

predominantly red you can choose denmark (red with white cross) or maybe indonesia/ poland which are half & half red & white

I want a 'London' flag! Not a huge fan of the union flag.

not sure what it would be...perhaps a map of the underground?

This is the official flag of the City of London, apparently.
