Wrong. Very cool! ![]()

Mozambique.
I like it. I think there is a gun to represent defense, a scythe to represent farming, and a book to represent education. A bit busy, perhaps, but I give it a B+

Hey I quite like our pork flag. for some reason Bremen is the only place I feel patriotic about. It may have have something to do with out our history of being one of the oldest existing republics in Europe, except for those 1000 years in the middle of the 20th century.

Well now, since everyone else is posting flags from their regions, here is mine: New York State. Have to admit, though, I like NOOLigan's and Bere's a lot better.

Simple, understated, no history of having the Confederate flag attached to it at any point (unlike our idiot neighbors to the south, Georgia) ![]()
Seeing as everyone's arguing states' rights, might as well highlight the flag of the place where it all started ![]()

Nice flag, though it looks like it belongs to the United Arab Emirates, what with the crescent moon and palm tree. All it lacks is the green background instead of blue.

What kind of tree is that? Looks like a Charlie Brown tree. ![]()
I've notice a lot of Central Eurpopean flags have the red and white checkered thing going on. Is there some sort of significance to that?

It's an oak... The so called "Hilgenbaum" where the old Germanic dudes did their court and law stuff...
And later travellers used it as a kind of blackboard, by putting little papers with written messages on it, to communicate.

So it's actually a little similar to the New York state flag, which has Justice on the right side, embodied as a chick rather than a tree. Hilgen means oak then?
