Aaargh - you are very brave! Would you show it off anywhere but the beach and bedroom??

Probably

(my boobs are well known for their appearances when I get drunk. )

I know quite a few people who have different piercings and by all accounts the increase of sensitivity is supposed to be Great..... not keen on the pain bit first though

We'll have to go out drinking together if I ever get to Manchester!

Milky had both of this nipples pierced, but he had to take them out as he kept playing with the things and they didn't heal up.... A friend of mine had hers done, but her nipples looked really odd and she had to wear a padded bra all the time or you could see the bars... not a good look...

Hmmm a story like that is enough to put anybody off!

Now I have an image of Milky playing with his nipples  did he say it made them more sensitive??

An ex of mine has just had her tongue and her [ahem] both pierced. No guessing which ex for those who know me! I'm such a squeamish bugger I go all faint thinking about it. She works for a law firm in the City though, so no idea what they make of the tongue thing but I guess it must be quite subtle.

A little stud in there isn't too noticeable. I've seen people with them but somebody unobservant might not notice them at all.

I have a tattoo on my right hip, Triune God symbol of three intersecting rings. I swear, when they inject the ink there is a bit of crack in it to make addictive. But, no one can see it unless I show them. *smile* And they have to ask nicely.

Oooh, you've got me thinking now, I can think of one ex who worked in the City, but then I think you've had a few!

Best blow job I ever had was off a bird with a pierced tongue. I shudder to think about it now!

The designs were done especially for me and have personal meanings to me. Also I can cover then up or show them off, depending on how I feel or if it's appropriate or not.

I'm pretty damn certain that they don't make me look butch.

So far i only have my ears pierced, I have been considering getting my nipple done, but I'm not sure yet

Tats on a bird = butch Tats on a bloke = hells angel, gaylord or sailor.

Fact of life. As I said before, what's wrong with a nice frock, some well apllied make-up and a nice smile. Trust me girls, it's what you need to snare Mr. Right.

It reminds me of a few girls I know that have tattoos and always complain how they end up in bad relationships. Hmmmmmm. . . .Maybe Glas is onto something.

They're fookin' ridiculous if you ask me!

Must admit that I don't like any piercings apart from ears, and then only one or two. A certain tongue from the past excepted!

I got 4 tattoo's at 18, 2 on each arm, started to regret them in my late 20's. I'm now 43 and I'm having laser treatments to remove the 2 on my forearms. £90 per session and approx 20 sessions. Had 8 and they really have faded, black is the easiest colour to get rid of,blues and green the hardest. On one you can only see the green so am considering a new treatment where the inject a chemical and it hides the ink.

wouldn't want to face a rugby pitch full of All Blacks in tattoo. The face tattoos are called moko. just looked it back up. Goes back to the 9thC over to the 1200s when many Polynesians travelled over to New Zealand. Has been combined with the Black Power gangs of the States too for some of the New Zealand gang scene. scary.

Was seeing a Barrister Solicitor-type when in (the Beautiful ) NZ who had a bit the Traditional NZ design. But in shirt, suit and tie you'd never know.

Goes to the person, place + design. Angelina Jolie. Johnny Depp. seem quite fine. Although Sandra Bullocks's millionaire Mechanic husband, think, has gone too far. When the ratio of ink-to-skin is even considered.. :nonono:

I knew a guy who had L T F C (Luton town football club) on his right hand knuckles and E S U K on the left. So when he crossed his fingers it read: LETS FUCK He reckoned he used to sit talking to women and casually cross his fingers. Not sure how much luck it got him, probably more than his job interviews though.

i saw a gal on the train the other day with a scorpion tattooed on her throat. Very cool, i thought.

I had a tattoo for my birthday paid for by a 'friend'.

I am now ......sort of..........regretting it. But in another way, feel like having another....hmmmm. :o (My parents are devasated)

However, whilst 'waiting' I looked at the other things they 'do'. Piercings in places I have never even heard of.........ugh, gross.:uhoh:

I got my left ear pierced when I was 22 back in 1979. You didn't see many men with them in those days and I wore them 90% of the time. The last few years though I usuall just wear one in the lower one and NEVER on the job. I run a VW dealership and must maintain a "professional" appearance. As for tattoo's, not for me but I don't mind them in moderation. I can't get the image of some 85 year old on a zimmer with neck and arm tattos all over. Would be the equivalent of seeing an original burma-shave billboard in 2006! SLIGHTLY weathered!

I have wondered about explaining a tattoo to my grandchildren and then asking them to explain to the care home assistants what it means..........but pah!

Carry on smoking neither will apply.:ignore:

I might be wrong, but I thought Prince Albert had such a huge member, that he needed a ring to keep it strapped to his thigh?!

Urban myth, or fashion statement?

i always thought it was to tie it up because of the clothes thay had to wear at the time, so gues its probably just an urban myth then?

Could only find this - "The story goes that Albert had his penis pierced with a ring -- called a "dressing ring" -- so that he could manipulate his privates to prevent an unseemly bulge when he wore tight trousers. Whether there's any truth to the tale is unknown, although the accounts of 19th century genital piercing do demonstrate that the Victorians weren't quite the prudes that we imagine them to be."

But then, if he wasn't a big chap, he wouldn't have had an 'unseemly bulge' in the first place, would he?
