i think its a class program, That ballantyne bloke (who lives a couple of miles away on the same estate as Keegan & Shearer)has bought half of Darlo. Couple of the Darlo orders other halves do female 'office type' jobs for him at his gaff in town. Apparantly he's a bit a barstuart to work for, no change nor nowt. Likes the ladies as well:thumb:

Must watch it, the common or garden boffin is one of the few bits of Brtishness I genuinely identify with. I mean I know they are predominately English but the rest of the UK can spout a few when needed as well ;)

peter jones is a sly bastard, makes out he aint interested then suddenly makes an offer.that woman on the panel in the last series got dumped because she hardly invested anything and was way out of her league with the likes of peter jones who was worth more than the rest of panel put together.when she did take on someone who already had a good business, she made it worse  be interesting to see if them truck washes from last night appear on service stations.

Who's the Jock? Fcuk me, I hate him. Always gives that horrendously sly look like a pantomime villain.

He had an 'acting' part in some BBC Drama recently. Something starring Bill Patterson (just googled it - "Sea of Souls") and he was Wooden As Fcuk.

he sure looks like a miserable jock. :evil4:

They're all a bunch of cnuts. Especially that Bannatyne who made his fortune as a feckin "granny-farmer" during the 80's. Anybody that labels themself an "entrepreneur" is automatically a twat in my book. It's similar to the faces you see hangin about certain bars and clubs in the city who are labelled as "gangsters".

The real gangsters and the real innovative money makers are out there doing it, not hangin about shitey clubs (the "gangsters") or appearing on TV programmes (the "entrpreneurs").

Great programme though, just to see the number of mentalists who appear lookin for cash.

Didn't A H Wilson's passport say "entrenpeneur" before they did away with having your profession on it?

Proof of point really LOL.

Anyway I will make a point of looking out for this show.

Don't know what the hell it is. I was thinking of the Dragon's Dungeon, but that's Comic Book Guy's comic store on the Sipmsons. Oh, the quality programming we miss out on on this side of the Atlantic.

Definitely one of the better 'reality' shows.

I would like to have seen follow ups on the early shows though, saying what happened to the ones they went for and the ones they didn't.

Also I have a horrible feeling the dragons are most rude and unlikeable arseholes because they mistakenly believe that's what got them rich. When probably the reality is more that they got rich in order to be able to behave like that. Only they don't realise its that way round.

another classic. its still full of shocks. 2 women turn down £ 200,000 and then peter jones offers a bloke a job !! excellent stuff its repeated at 11.30 on tuesdays

There was one the other week where a bloke was trying to get a deal to set up a car repair help and advice phone line.Peter Jones did a mock situation where he phones up for advice. But the bloke basically just tells hims to take it to a garage. He didn't get a deal:laugh:

I thought the guy who had the idea for this was a clever cookie

It was launched an hour after the show, but seems to be down at the moment

I was really suprised by that one, because for some reason I'd always assumed that kind of software already existed. Dammnit, I thought of that idea years ago, though I really doubt I'd have had the competence to actually implement it. I don't know where I got the idea that it already existed, I seem to have imagined reading people comparing it to real DJ sequencing. Good luck to the guy, though I reckon the dragons who said he should just licence the technology to itunes or someone had the better idea.

What I'd like to see is on-the-fly automated _remixing_ rather than just sequencing. I'm sure it would be possible to automatically generate some of those old cut-n-paste 12" extended version style remixes at the very least. Maybe in the future music will come in a special format with the tracks stored seperately and some software to mix them intelligently and uniquely every time you play them.

Yeah i saw that one the other night with the remix thing.Surely its already been around for years?
