Just in case you missed my reply in the other thread:

I think the poor old Crows are stuffed for this year. We have a heap of our top players out and our captain Mark Ricciuto is suffering from parvovirus!! I thought it only affected dogs but apparently there is a human form of the virus. There is a chance it may have been passed on to other players too. It's like somebody has hexed us. :(

Freo have done really well but we won't know if they will stay third until this round is finished. They could actually go level with the Crows on games won but the Crows have a much larger percentage. It was good to see Freo kill West Coast last weekend :) :thumb::thumb:

West Coast have Richmond away this weekend whilst the Crows have Melbourne. Crows will be top again if they win and West Coast lose - can't see it happening though.

Western Bulldogs are beating Essendon at the moment.

Here's the table:

Port Adelaide Power? What an incredibly lame name. Much like many of the newer US sports teams. Others here are cool though. Do the referees in Aussie football still wear those cool fookin uniforms? It was white sports jackets & fedoras, or summit like that?

By the way, the Kangaroos is a good nickname compared to some of the MLS (US football/soccer) names: Columbus Crew, Chicago Fire, New England Revolution. The only decent names are the ones that borrow from the traditional European powers, like DC United, FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake...And the newer NBA (Basketball) teams, with the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic...Ah, well, enough of my whinning.

Port Adelaide Power - what an incredibly lame team!!

The umpires are wankers. If you've ever watched them when they signal a goal - they are so dramatic. What cracks me up is if they have to go over the boundary onto the field and confer with one of the main umpires. They run back to their spot backwards so as not to turn their back on play but they look like absolute twats.
