are Muse American?
like Bush? ![]()
keep hearing their name and stuff, but know fuck all about them.
someone said they're globally massive, but i don't get it.
never hear them on the radio, or the telly.

No they're British. You think I'd vote for an American band? ![]()

You obviously don't listen to Radio 1, they kiss their arse so much it defies belief, they're not that good.
i'm gonna go with the bookies and say the artic monkeys.
i went for isobell campbell & mark laneghan, on the basis that it's a quality album.
editors is v good, but not of the wall enough for the mercury. guillemots i just don't like, hot chip are ok, muse should be renamed matt bellamy's muse these days, arctic monkeys - don't make me laugh one or two good songs, but come off it! thom yorke's album is just wrong, forgotten who the others are! hawley is a good bet though
I think i'll have a flim on Scritti Politti then in the betting shop after work.
wonder what the odds are?
Arctic Monkeys-the hype so died down didnt it. I bought the album after getting (stupidly) caught up in the bullshit. Would have to say,"Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secure" is the only track id even bother with now.
Id give it to Thom Yorke, cos if the truth be told if it was a "Radiohead" album itd be up as album of the year.
I've only got The Warning. Don't know who half of them are. s'pose they're mostly stupid rock bands.
isobel campbell and mark lanegan for me please
fucking great album. lanegan is a legend. ![]()
only great album on the list IMO.

So says Alex Turner.
I have no idea who Alex Turner is, but you and me know that Hawley was mugged in the name of NME-hyped tosspots.
Edit: I also thought that the Guilemotts (sp.?) record was beautiful. Clearly, I was in a minority.
In the backroom for me, and that's where i am rite now after just ending another long day night at work. editors
