what does this mean exactly?

ok, someone sent me a message earlier, being sarcastic, as in me thinking this person was a perfect saint (which i dont), but they said this:

" How dare you! (edit name out) doesn't drink, smoke, back women or ride horses. He's a clean living, God fearing, Christian family man!! ha ha!"

ok, now, what do they mean by the "back women" comment? is that sexual or mean hitting? i think this person British, so maybe it means different stuff. i dont know. they wont even answer me.
