URGENT CALL OUT FOR HACIENDA PHOTOS

As a taster for a proposed large-scale Hacienda exhibition in 2007, Urbis is planning a smaller Corridor Gallery exhibition devoted to the culture of the legendary Hacienda queue.

Urbis needs former Hac attendees to provide photos for the exhibition, which will run along a 33ft wall, attempting to recreate the atmosphere of the club queue.

The exhibition will give an overview of the Hacienda’s different clientele throughout its history; the progression from 80s-90s; the clubs differing ‘personalities’ e.g. the varying clientele/themed nights/fashions, etc… the club represented in the photographs.

There's a tight deadline of the 20th September to get your photos in by. If you can help, please email us at info@mdmarchive.co.uk

Wonder whether anyone has a photo of a guy I saw at Flesh. He'd cut the fingers off about a hundred pairs of rubber gloves and sewn them all over his clothes.

I was one of those sights! On my first visit to the Hacienda my friend spewed up on my back, oh how I laughed... :\ohwell:

My friend was sick on Chris Lowe's shoes in the lobby once.

I picked her up and shouted "We were leaving anyway" to the doormen and legged it out of the door.

Lovely shoes -suede I think.

Got some good photos of NO,Tony Wilson,Thomas Dolby and Cabaret Voltaire on stage at the Hacienda.Will you get them back though,or is it worth getting copies?

Yes, you'll definitely get them back. Urbis will provide a loan agreement, and look after them.
