Today I'm taking the wife to get a tummy-tuck. She's been wanting it for the longest time. Both kids were large, 10 lbs 3 oz; 9lbs 6 oz, and 95% of the babies stuck out whenshe was pregnant and at 3 months she looked like most women at 9 months. It's been hard for her to keep her weight down because of the stretched skin. I thought she was fine the way she was, but she has been adament in getting this. Even though this type of surgery is pretty safe, still a bit nervous about it.

Anyways, if you were able to change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Does that mean you currently have 4 or 6? :confused2:

When I was younger I always said I would never go under the knife but after speaking to several people who've had various things done, I would definitely consider it now.

I've a terrible habit of rubbing my eyes and I would imagine in a few years I will probably be in need of a little work. My friend is only 38 and her eyelids actually hang over her eyelashes so she's going in for the operation soon.

If you can afford it and it makes you feel better about yourself then I think it's a good thing.

I'm such a wimp, I wouldn't be able to have surgery unless it was absolutely necessary.

I know a couple of girls who've had work done, though, and it's boosted their self esteem. I thought both looked great anyway but I suppose it's all down to how you feel about yourself.

Maybe when I get old

Well, if all me pills and potions don;t finally fix me, I may be facing cosmetic surgery to reconstruct large scoops of flesh removed from my armpits and groin.

Apart from that, and despite my being a true minger, I have never considered anything so vain, except possibly to have my shitty eyes fixed.

Back from the Surgery room, everything went well and she's asleep, and safe. Has to stay at a 45 degree angle, so sleeping on the lazyboy. Strangest duty I have is that there are these two tubes I have to drain of this bloody fluid...

Guess for the next two weeks I'm taking over the house...cleaning and cooking.....Lord help us!!!

Oh I just don't know about surgery. A big part of me would easily give my self over to a surgeon.I have three things I would change but I just deleted them and thought better of disclosing here...too many guys!

Part of me thinks yeah, it's good if it makes you feel better about yourself. Then another part of me says I should be able to feel happy and good about myself without it being dependent on what my physical container looks like. We are all so much more than our physical bodies.

I am pretty happy with my self and my life but if someone offered me free, painless surgery to trim and tighten a few things, I think i would succumb.

Hope your wife is feeling okay and the housework is not doing you in!

I'd like to be taller. 5'6 just isn't cutting it. For something cosmetic, I'd just like to get any acne scars removed, since I had cystic acne as a teenager.

Other than that, I've been told that my arse looks like a girl's, even by girls. Any way to fix that?

Probably get me eyes lasered in a few years time. Splashing out on lenses every few months is like napalm for the bank balance

Don't do it babe! Girl who I used to work with had her eyes done, because of the bags under her eyes, which weren't that bad anyway.Spent £2000 and to be honest, after the post-op swelling went down, she didn't look much different.Apart from looking two grand poorer.

tummy tuck. five years of competitive rowing didn't do shit for my stomach and my next step is the ab lounge (sad, i know). i'm not expecting a stomach like shakira or fergie, but relatively fit would be nice.

since i've been hospitalized i haven't been capable of doing much exercise, so that hasn't helped. but once i'm done with my physical therapy i'm joining the jewish community center which is near my new house, and i'm going to start working out again. i see body building in the future. or not.

my grandmother had that surgery because it was affecting her eyesight; she was about 85 when she went under the knife. my dad's getting close and i imagine i'll be at that stage someday, as well.

I'm stealing all the lyrics tonight!:

Aging black leather and hospital bills, Tattoo removal and dozens of pills. Your liver pays dearly now for youthful magic moments, But rock on completely with some brand new components.

Excess ain't rebellion. You're drinking what they're selling. Your self-destruction doesn't hurt them. Your chaos won't convert them. They're so happy to rebuild it. You'll never really kill it. Yeah, excess ain't rebellion.
