An insult a mate of mine (from way back) used to employ: "He's the sort of lad who doesn't wash his hands before going to the loo!"

Said mate worked in a factory, dealt with industrial oils, or whatever.

Nothing beats the Iraqis, they have no need to wash before hand as they wipe their ass with thier right hand...no toilet paper...but they wash up afterwards...in water straight out of the Euphrates....

Now that's what I call sanitary!:shine:

Nothing worst than finding out one of your co-worker is one of these.

I found out one once, and I have to double check a second time... once we went to lunch, the whole group, you can be sure I didn't pick in the same popcorn bowl he was using...

That being said, never take any candy while exiting a restaurant.. it's been prooved that it's full of urin.

Yes, with my lovely coconut smelling soap.

But think about this, particularly if you go to a public toilet in a shopping centre. What germs are on the knob and the tap. Then if you go up an escalator there's germs on the hand rail. Imagine the germs on the supermarket trolley ewwww. Then you get your money out ewwwwww. It pays NOT to think about it. :D

I've had to clean after people in a public toilet before, so unfortunately I have had to think about it :barf:

As George Carlin once said, "Why should I wash my hands? I was thinking about sticking this in my wife's mouth."

It's never as bad as the flush knob on a toilet. One should always wash it with alcohol. Jeez, I'm boring!

According to a medical inquiry, there are less germs in the arse than in the mouth... mind it.

Haven't been on here for a few days and suddenly Missy is everywhere with lavatorial queries!

Yes, even bring my own soap into work, not using the industrial cheap stuff - very drying.

Related to toilets, many years ago i had to clean sick out of one that Bernard had been in that evening - doubt it was his though!

Actually, it's a very valid question, because a lot of the people who go into pub toilets fail to wash their hands on their way out... :brow:

I also try and avoid holding onto rails inside buses/tubes for the same reason, especially as a smoker - just transferring germs onto cigarette and into mouth... :smoking:

...and then eat the peanuts supplied free on some bars.

there's more germs on my desk than in me bog. that's for sure.

I clean my desk all the time, and my keyboard. It's sparkling. Having to work at somebody else's desk this week and there's stuff between the keys - yuk.

I HATE that! I moved into my new office a few months ago, and I think I shook the keyboard for an hour and crap and food was still falling out of it.....how do people live that way?????

Public bathrooms. Takes all less than two or three mins.. 1. Wash hands. Take paper towel into the err toilet for the handles. etc.s. 2.Then wash hands before leaving. Taking and additional Paper towel for the handle out. People might think you're a little :skeptic: over the top. Rather safe than Germy. Gas station: Tends to be a bin two steps away from the door. Have an alcohol aloe gel stuff in the Car and in the Handbag too.:thumb:

Reminds me of the saying:

One bloke says to another upon seeing him not wash his hands 'my father taught me to wash my hands after having a piss' to which the the other replies yea?, well my father taught me not to piss on my hands!'

I follow this adage, but obviously not after having a big job.

i just pee outside in the alley or in the bushes so i don't have to go into dirty germ filled public toilets... no need to wash my hands since i only touch my own penis and i keep my penis clean, and wear clean underwear. i touch my penis all the time and it's never made me sick. so why do i need to wash my hands? the knobs of the sink faucet are covered with germs of guys who just used the bathroom and touched their own naughty bits and knobs. my logic is unfailing.

actually i used to be scared to go into public restrooms when i was a kid so i just didn't go and just held it... the most sanity option, just say no.
