Anyone else a fan?

Had not seen a single episode till fairly recently, then borrowed first three series off me little sis just cos she'd raved about it. Watched all them virtually back to back then bought series 4 a couple of weeks back and devoured that in a week. Obviously, when I like something, I don't do things by half measures.

Didn't even realise there was a series 5 starting last night till about two days ago, so what a pleasant surprise that was. And what a cracking opening salvo. Takes a brave drama to kill off leading stars in such a fashion, but they've done it again, and what a nasty way for someone to make an exit. Ouch.

Quality British drama.

I liked it until the frankly magnificent Keeley Hawes left the show. Lost its allure after that for me....

Bit posh for you, Fradders. :shades:

They had one of the Cold Feet sorts start last night. Not quite the same allure.

Cracking show! Although I always struggle to get back into it at the beginning of a new series, cos it takes so long to remember what happened at the end of the last one! Love the way they just seem to kill off pretty major characters at the most unlikely times, as with poor Colin last night...

I missed the opening minute last night. What happened to the bird who shot Adam? And how come she didn't take out Harry as well?!

Colin's death. Nasty. You'd have thought he might've struggled a bit more though.

She shouted "Djhakarta is coming" and leapt from the top of the buliding face first onto a car below. Class.

Long time fans in our house, did like the scrap in Euan Blairs dorm, fire extinguisher to the head, excellent!

Was kind of hoping that scene had been directed by Patrick Stewart.

Glad to see that my demise would prompt such a massive outpouring of emotion on here.
