Unless the home favorite are the Philadelphia Eagles.

I put the Giants as my top pick in an NFL contest I play in and got the result I knew would happen!!

Luckily enough, I was asleep most of the game since I had gotten up early to watch CSKA Chelski/LFC and then Utd/Arsenal. The Eagles were winning most of the match and the Giants came from behind to win in OT on a touch down.

I grew up an Eagles fan but I'm smart enough to know they'd have blown it. (Growing up on the Eagles is what prepares me for the unpredictable up and down heartache of supporting Man City)

The rest of my picks for this week were:

Giants 5pts - win Pittsburgh 4pts(Play tonight--expected win) New England 3pts - win Dallas 2pts - win Carolina 1pt - win

I'm on my way to a perfect week!!!!!

Holy crap, the Giants had NO BUSINESS winning that game! They should've lost by 20. Amazing game with an amazing end. I'll give the Giants some credit for coming back like that, especially on the road, though. 10-6 will win that division.

Wait.. are you serious?

The Eagles finished WHAT? last season and the Giants finished how well? I think too many people blame the Eagle's problems last year on Terrell Owens. Um, one man causing a shit load of problems shouldn't have been that much of a distraction... no the rest of the team was shit and they've not fixed it with what they brought in.

"The toughest division in football" it will be 3 teams going 10-6 11-5 and then the fucking eagles doing 7-9.

You've heard it here first dude.

Who cares about last year?? This is the NFL, half the playoff teams from one year don't even make the playoffs the next year. And, did you actually watch the game?? The Eagles dominated the first three quarters more than I've seen in some time, I even told my friend before they blew it that they should have been up by more. Also a stupid 15 yd penalty against Philly that got the Giants into field goal position for the game tying field goal. However, without a power rushing game, the Eagles had better get used to having trouble holding on to leads late in games.

It seems like that happened at the beginning of last year, but home teams eventually righted the ship somewhat, though still finished with a relatively poor record. Just goes to show the parity in the NFL, I think. :confused2:

Eagles accidently dominiated as Eli was finding his stride The Giants are a better team and they proved it in the end. The fact that the Eagles lost their momentum in the 4th quarter proves what shit they are.

period.

the last season DOES matter. don't be a plastic supporter about it. You build teams up on each other year after year. People are giving the Eagles

don't be a knob.

:wtf: Do you pay attention to the NFL? My stating that half the playoff teams don't make the playoffs the next year is not random babbling on my part. Teams that win their division rarely do so the next year. Less than half the time, over the past few years. Also, the team that loses the Superbowl usually mises out on the playoffs. It's happened the last few years, I believe.
Last year, only 5 of the 12 playoff teams made the playoffs the year before. Only 3 out of 8 division champs repeated. Do you know how many NFC teams have made the playoffs three years in a row? One. The conclusion:last season DOESN'T MEAN SHIT!!!
Yes, I think the Giants are a better team than the Eagles, but they weren't on Sunday.

Good choice. No matter how close the Eagles get, they never win.

And as long as the Eagles are far from winning, the less people have to hear that tuneless song of theirs on TV.
