Just read that Charlie Sheen is set to break all TV records by being paid 350K USD per half-hour episode.
Please, someone, confirm that it's shit.
I mean, I could sort of understand the appeal of stuff like Friends, but 2.5Men is quite low-key on these shores. Does it have absolutely huge international appeal then, and we can expect re-runs of it to fill daytime TV for the next umpteen years?

I only watch Seinfeld repeats and Extras as far as Comedies go.

And The guy who was Fraiser was getting over $1m an episode, as was Raymond from everyone loves raymond, he got $1.9m an episode for the last series.
Not seen it, but sounds like utter crap, so there's a fair chance it'll be on all the time at our house soon, given Mrs Snorri's telly preferences...

The show is brilliant. Those that are saying otherwise are either women or have never really watched it. Mostly everything on the TV is crap nowadays, but 2 1/2 Men are tops!
From what I've seen, it was interesting and funny... didn't watch many though.
Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer (duckie from pretty in pink!) are doing a fine job.
And I doubt 350k is a record... Seinfeld was doing at least 1M$ per 30 mins show.

But yeah, the show is shit, Charlie Sheen trying to be funny is rarely good. Jon Cryer needs the dough (and probably deserves it for having to put up with Mr. Ex-Denise Richards). Say, is Denise single?...

it's uninteresting IMO. sure, there have been worse sitcoms on in the past but it is typical mainstream popular sitcom humour... the jokes are obvious, the audience knows when to laugh and the show makes them feel comfortable because it is unchallenging, no surprises.
at least Will and Grace is finally OOP... do they show that elsewhere? (yeah, i know, i must be homophobic, like whatever, it sucked)
Utter shite, haven't even raised a smile watching the little snippets that I have watched. Not in the same league as Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond.
Too bad it's mostly women (as it is a guy's show) and people that have watched only the credits taking a stab at this thread. The show is great, but I state again it is a guy's show, so I can understand why the women don't find it interesting.
Anything with the words 'Charlie Sheen' translates as 'Instant Crap'. Why the fuck they pay him so much when he's been associated with so many bollocksy flops is beyond imagination...
