Hackers are not evil, you are thinking "crackers" the misuse of "hackers" is perpetuated by MS so that people looking at linux or bsd will freak out when they see the word.

i find bugs in code every day, i have never seen one impossible to fix. i tend to agree with you and think the patch will be forthcoming.
they talk about stack overflow. linux tracks its stack since kernel 2.6 i would love to find code to break this as it is hampering my ability to reverse engineer a shared library atm.
I hope you're right. I'm getting tired of switching browsers for security reasons and imports never seem to work perfectly. I was planning to switch back to IE once v7 officially comes out but I don't want to be forced to go back to IE ahead of time. Once a software becomes popular, jerks are always going to find ways to exploit it.

I can barely program a VCR.....but coula you not use the stack tracing functions to help? Or recompile the kernel without stack checking.

I remember being in the back of a taxi with my mate once. The driver was chatting on and happened to mention his dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the way the Internet works. Particular ire was reserved for the type of sites that open another screen when you try to close them down, and open two more if you try to close that one down. He was getting quite upset - before you know it there's hundreds of screens open and you can't close them all down.
Dry as fuck, my mate said "yes and it's really hard when you're only using the one hand."
