That's one movie I've never cared much for, N. Portman's character irritated me, and most of the rest of the characters were rather.........blah. I was looking forward to the movie beforehand, but I honestly found nothing compelling about it. Sorry Ms. Wood.

Dunno, what was it? I did see "Made" though which was the next(and only?) film that Vince Vaughn and John Faverau headlined together. It was also fantastic but did nothing in the cinemas apparently. It co-starred Peter Falk (Columbo), P Diddy and a Glaswegian acor playing a heavily accented Glaswegian character which must be a first outside of a British film?

And if you look closely there are cameo appearances by Grandmaster Flash and the bird that played Annalise in Neighbours (she's got one line)

Films that I've watched a lot:

Mr Jolly Lives Next Door Withnail and I And far less so... Vanilla Sky

Nine Songs is a better film than it first appears to be - I like putting that one on when I'm wrecked - the cinematography is very clever and there's loads of shagging in it. Good music too.

Speaking of good films with loads of shagging in it - Don't Look Now is excellent. Try humming the theme tune in a room full of people - loads of people recognise it and look a bit shifty. Another one is Betty Blue. So so film with a wonderful soundtrack and a french bird with massive knockers.

make sure its the directors cut, its very long but it makes more sence that the theatrical version, i think both version's are on the DVD

Bit too stylised for my liking. While it looks fantastic, I can't really connect with it in the way I can with something like American Psycho.

Didn't read the book, so that's probably why I like the movie. I can see how Kubrick could change a book for the worse, but I think it is brillant from a cinematography stand point.

it is more of a style thing. I always though Alex and his friends looking super cool, yet they look rather daggy in the 60s getup.

Just watched a fantastically twisted Greek movie called "Singapore Sling" the other night, which is fast becoming a favorite in my mind. A fine recommendation by Sophia...you know, from that band Glasnost...she used to post on here.

I read the book after i saw the film so i guess i had the imagry already in my head, but the story is almost word for word, with a few scenes missing, and of course the missing chapter
