How to Blow a Sure Thing, with your guest instructor...Tony LaRussa
1.) Go up on the Mets three games to two, and travel to Shea Stadium for what should be Game 6 victory
2.) Remember that you're Tony LaRussa, the biggest choke job in baseball history
3.) Allow the Mets to get four runs on the board while you strand God knows how many men on base (so far, at least - eighth inning now)
4.) Snatch defeat from the jaws of victory
5.) Have George Will give you a literary blowjob ![]()
6.) Relax in Post-season with plenty of underage Catholic schoolgirls action (I can't prove it, but you know he does) :p

It's because escalator designers like to mess with your mind.... ever get stuck behind the kid* who wont step on because of the fear of being sucked into it if he/she steps on the crack.
*(or drunk/nutcase/doddery old dear.)

All the time... You forgot the mother determined to get a pram onto the escalator as well, even though it is too wide!

With all the confusion over the years about the titles of Cries & Whispers and Mesh, the fact that (I would) imagine more copies of Substance exist than of the original vinyl releases of the tracks and the fact that the band ae unlikely to remember them, let alone play them any more - will there be a point where it makes more sense to refer to them by the mislabelled names?

Wasn't J. Edgar Hoover, was it?
Speaking of Book of Love, has there ever been a band that got more mileage out of recording the same song over and over with different lyrics? I'm pretty sure they had at least two albums, all of which were comprised of the same song.
It probably had something to do with J. Edgar Hoover, now that I think about it.

Why is that while I'm at work, I have to convince those that work under me to actually work, and when I tell them to work they look like its a big inconvience of thier time, but when thier paycheck is a couple days late, they want me to work really hard to find out why and make sure they get paid.
