Random thought of the day:

After the band is retired or hiatusing again, they must star in a new TV fitness program entitled "24 Hour Portly People."

Is "hiatusing" actually a word?

(Apologies if this isn't random enough).

If you can be under- and overwhelmed, why, if something is just as you expected and hoped for, can you not be just plain whelmed?

It is when you say it with enough confidence in your voice. I think I just made it up. Sounds good, though, don't it?

Does the same apply to 'hiatusisation'?

Reminded me of something I heard someone say... "Even a fish wouldn't get into trouble if he kept his mouth shut."

They're similar but not the same. An effeminate male is basically a guy who acts girly. A man who is emasculate doesn't act manly.

We know the colour blue is blue because we are taught so, for example the sky is blue, the ball is blue etc. Fair enough.... but how do we know that we all see the same colour blue? and that my independent vision of what I have learnt is blue, is not the same as your vision of blue but is actually the same colour as what I would call red????
