And i dont give a shit about crap american smackhead bands from the early 90's.

If someone is going to have an "intense" cocaine session, then quite frankly, then they have no one to blame but themselves. People will say he as misunderstood, I say he was a fucking idiot.

who the hell are we talking about here?

nevermind....figured it out.can't say much not knowing his music. kind of reminds me of layne staley though. drugs don't do anything for anyone but put one foot in the grave until it does 'em in.

Get with the lingo, Liam. Cocaine users aren't smackheads.

The singer from Blind Melon? Errr...not really the voice of a generation, now was he? More like that 1-hit wonder band.

Is that fat little bee girl still alive? That is all I really remember about Blind Melon. Think she is in college now and uses her fame as the bee girl to get laid? Still wears a bee costume at halloween? Or is just a tubby woman with zits working the counter at McDonalds, her life having long since peaked...?

five minutes wouldn't pass without one seeing that bee girl. she was omnipresent on MTV my sophomore year in college and i got damn sick of her.

Yup, No Rain was an enjoyable song, to be honest, we never heard of this band afterwards.

I think the only time I heard about it is because the singer did something dirty on stage... (number two I believe!)

Can't have been that big a band if they only played stage No 2?

And No Rain is awesome, so hopefully that gives some idea of how amazing the other two are.

No rain was annoying, but they had some random song on thier second album I liked, and also the remake of the "3's the Magic Number". . . .other than that, kinda worth forgetting.

Shannon was the singer behind the seminal electro crossover track "Let The Music Play" which New Order's warm up DJ played on Thursday night straight after Justice v Simian.

I remember that bee girl, but also I remember reading in an interview how Billy Corgan bad-mouthed Blind Mellon because they were SP's opening band. I don't remember NO Rain well, though.
