Last few days is still catching up on me.

Absolutely superb weekend in the 'Dam, although it would have probably been a little better if it had been more than a week after the New Order weekend, and if I didn't have to get a 9:40am flight from Amsterdam this morning and into work today... Hence (sacrilege, I know), I missed both the Steve Hillage Band *AND* Gong (finishing time 3am).... :dead:

I now wish that I'd drunk loads of red bulls (or possibly something stronger), which is what Digi & Ren did - i.e. very little sleep... Ah well...

Top weekend, though, Eat Static/System 7 the highlight, as well as the University Of Errors (Daevid Allen doing some solo stuff as well as some Soft Machine songs), as well as Mothergong (superb bass), Gliss Orchestra (quite a racket!), Here & Now (superb), Acid Mother's Gong (superb drumming with some Daevid Allen singing), Toolshed Lite (Graham Massey, Graham Clark), Tim Blake & J.P. Rykiel (synth heaven!) not to mention the belly dancers!

Now to try and recover before the Guy Called Gerald set on Friday, and the Autechre/LFO/Massonix (Graham Massey) gig at the Warehouse in Manchester on the 24th...
