Said "Go on then" when Diamond White said he wanted to show me this amazing thing he could do with a condom.
Spent a weekend in Dundee (Friday right through til Monday, fucking awful).
Hum, when I was, 16 I believe (Sebastien will correct me if not), I invited this girl I was going out with for a while to a party with all my friends, we were not "going out" per se, but let's say we were experimenting a lot.
Quite nice girl, beautiful blonde, the kind you are proud to be with.
Well, she came to the party, but with another guy.
You could find me under a table that day.
Can't believe that was 16 years ago.. ouch!
My mother died of ovarian cancer last year
Some years ago I almost died of blood poisoning. I spent a week in intensive care in a coma and month in hospital.
if you mean worst as the most shy here is mine: I did a shit in my pants during cherry harvest,I was almost 15.![]()
One of the worst experiences i ever had was working for an office furniture company in Essex. Was doing a major installation of 500 desks at an army base near Reading, and the vans and fitters forgot to take the electrical packs that you fit in the desks for pc's etc.
I offered to drive an estate car over to the base with over 500 packs loaded up, each worth about £150.
I got some bloke to load up an estate car, and for some reason drove off with the hatchback wide open.
Bombing down the A13 stereo blasting NO at full volume, i couldnt work out why people were flashing me constantly.
After eight miles I noticed a trail of these packs along the side of the road, and shat meself. I had to reverse down the A13 for best part of 8 miles grabbing all the bits i could, playing chicken in a suit, fully expecting to be on a 'Bad Drivers' programme on Sky in the future.
I got to the site and gave them all the bits I'd gathered up, the head fitter commenting on the 'state of some of the shit that comes out of the factory these days', wondering why there were tyre marks on a few of the packs.
The installation amazingly was a success. Still don't know how.
Cracking my ribs right before the fucking New Order tour. Low points in this experience were the accident itself (which hurt like buggery and made a sickening cracking sound) and the point where I realised I would not be able to stay conscious if I stayed where I was in front of Hooky in Bournemouth.
For you, ze tour is over ![]()
When they operated on me the first time in 2001...... for THREE MONTHS, every day, I had to drop my trunks, have a nurse drag about 30ft of cotton gauze wick out of 3 "pockets" in my flesh, swab them out and re-pack them (the plan being that by this packing business, the wounds would not heal into one huge lump of scar tissue, or re-infect). It varied from ouch to FUUUUUCKING STOP THAT YOU WHORE!!!!!!!! More women seen my arse in 3 months than in the rest of my life.
Or having our sampler, THEN our atari go down stone dead....live on the radio LOL.
Blimey, reading this thread is making me almost cry one minute and cringe the next.
When I was 18, I said I wasn't coming home one night as I had arranged with a mate to pretend to stay with her, but was actually planning to stay at a bloke's flat. As it turned out the bloke changed his mind so I was locked out of my house as the bolt was on and had to stay up all night, part of the night in a phone box - pretending to make a phone call and the rest sat behind the dustbin in our garden until day break - ![]()
One morning, as I was still living by my parents, I thought that my girlfriend was on the other side of my bedroom's door. I was naked with my sex erected (as it can be when you are a young man) and when I opened the door, I found myself in front of the mother of my brother's friend... great moment of loneliness...
erm...not sure that this is the place to share this, but what the hell...just happened about two hours ago...and it's almost humorously ironic...but I've just had a doctor tell me that I've got cancer...skin cancer only...but still, it was a somewhat numbing thing...I didn't even realize that I had spent the past two hours just driving around Austin, but fuck me if I can tell you where the hell I have been....
why is this humorously ironic...well, it hasn't been two weeks since I was behind the table at Blue Saturday, trying to help raise funds for cancer research by selling some shirts (and a CRAP Joy Division print to Missy Jem)...but during the weekend, somebody asked about my new hair do....and I was glib enough to make a joke about chemo...now that's freaking ironic...
ah well...the doc did say "we think we have caught this in plenty of time"...bastards better have...I fully intend to have to go back to England for some more new order gigs in the future...
the one good thing, I did toss two full packs (and a partial) of cigarettes out the window at some point while I was driving...so at least I can say I'm a non-smoker now...

The benign type, hopefully?
Better have Cozzie fire up the kiln... ;)
Very, very sorry to hear that Jeff. Hearing that my mom had breast cancer over 20 years ago numbed me at the time, but she has survived very well till now. I wish the same for you.
Worst mental one was being a quite naive kid at 12 and then being unnecessarily humiliated by a girl. Karma is a bitch, Tracy.
No bad physical injuries here, sliced my left pinkie open in the kitchen with a knife, and broke the other one in a door.
One of the worst was being stuck out in the Jordanian desert with a bad leg.Pulled a muscle or something and couldn't walk.Would have froze to death that night if i hadn't attracted attention by repeatedly setting off the camera flash
Sorry Jeff.
On Blue Saturday, one of my friend confessed to me he was about to be out of a cancer (the reason he gave no news for a quite long moment)... Most of the people recover of this nowadays. Good luck !
Crikey Jeff: that's a bit of a stunner. Hopefully the doc's right and it will be sorted soon.
Good idea about them smokes though: stay off them and you'll be right as rain in no time ![]()
(Hey, I sounded a bit like a doctor then!)
Hope you'll be feeling much better very soon, Jeff. Just sent you an email to your yahoo addy

Good luck to you mate.
hello Jeff, Iam with you. A week ago Iwas talkin to my she-doctor. She gently said there is a possibility I got larynx-cancer. Next day I did USG - Iam clean, nothin was found. Now Iam trying to quit smoking.
Iam sure you will be fine![]()
