what's the worst experience you've ever had (that you want to share online)?

I can't pick just one bad experience. All of them seem to tie each other.

  1. Getting a really bad case of food poisoning two years ago. I was throwing up for about 4 hours in my dorm room, and then my twat of a roommate comes in from the gym and opens the window real wide - in January, in Boston. When I went to student health services, they told me I had to go to the emergency room, where for 8 hours I had a few large IV needles stuck into my arm as I passed in and out of consciousness.

  2. When I was 16, I needed a pair of dress pants for an honors society ceremony at school, my mother tried to see if an old pair of my father's pants would fit me so she wouldn't need to buy me another pair. The pants she had looked like they had piss stains on them but she insisted I put them on and she'd wash them later. Only after I put them on did she realize that they were old masturbation stains. Needless to say, I was pretty horrified and my mother shelled out $20 for a new pair of pants.

  3. A year ago, I was talking to a guy online and he wanted to meet, just to hang out. So, I take a bus from Boston to Plymouth, MA, only to find that this guy doesn't really want to "hang out." He left me at the bus station in Plymouth after the last bus left. I was broke and had to try to convince a friend on the phone two hours away that I was worth picking up and taking back home.

  4. Sophomore year in college, I was asleep, but then that twat of a roommate comes in shit faced drunk from partying with a friend and turns on the lights. As I slowly become awake, I realized that they were both talking really loudly about how ugly, disgusting, and weird I am and how "bizarre" my real name is. I think after that point I wanted to beat the crap out of my roommate.

When I was in sixth grade, one of my teachers found out that forty girls were plotting to do something to me (clique culture, go figure). The girls had to write apologies on the board... From that point on, my popularity went down to the point where I couldn't trust girls at all and that I went mute selectively...

Shall I kill them? Or keep meditating?

Meditate, love. The girls are no good, MTV and teen mag crazy hicks... Why do you think I don't like the current pop culture? It reminds me of them...

It seems a few people on here have been victims of bullies. It's always in the news these days but nothing seems to have improved despite all the measures taken. One of my best moments was walking approaching my bully years later.

This girl used to hang outside our school every now and then, she went to a different school. At the time, everybody was terrified of her. She was 6 years older than me and a BIG girl. It wasn't just me, but she did seem to really have it in for me (and I was quiet in these days!)

I saw her in my local pub about 10 years ago, I approached and asked her if she knew who I was. She didn't have a clue, and her face dropped when I told her. I was very tempted to give her a shove, but in the end settled with a rude word and a hard look.

It's true about bullies, they're all cowards on their own.

Why didn't you just belt her one? With that ring on your finger you would have knocked her out.

I would probably have killed her with that ring! I was tempted to hit her believe me, I got myself all worked up about it too. Wouldn't that have put me on the same level though?

Good point, but it depends on the person. Are you the revenge type or do you just let it go? I wouldn't have blamed you for smacking her as you may not have had the chance to years ago. I hate bullying in schools and it seems it's more familiar these days than when I was there. If you had hit her though the chances are you would have been up before a Judge.

The best way to deal with bullies is to bully them back.

Failing that, place a pissed Missy Jem in their immediate vicinity :evil4:

Good job you didn't. She could easily have you in a fight.

Superb Texas Jeff lines! Just read this- Good luck w/ the skin. Caught early :thumb: Good chance for sorting back to a clean Bill of Health. Too many Election 06USA threads these last few days.

Worst experience seeing a dog get hit by Car one night a couple of months ago. Being 1/2 a City block and three cars away. Total disrespect for how the two involved handled it. All worked out okay yet left me shaken, not stirred ;-)

Worst experience for me? Not quite as mad as others.....Rangers equalling our 9 in a row record. They won the first title in that sequence when I was 15, so you can imagine the stick I took in the pub for fucking years!!!!

Jeff, best wishes to you. Well if it's cancer, I guess Skin cancer is the best ot have, as it seems that if it's caught early it has the best possibility of not being fatal. Take care.

As for the topic, only one thing comes to mind, but don't want to really talk about it. Lets just say someone is not around because of a decision I made while out in Iraq.

Lemme guess: you found a magic lantern in a cave outside Baghdad, as you were polishing it a wee wispy ethereal fella emerged and granted you a couple of wishes. Your a big Beatles fan so you wished Mark Chapman had never been born.

I understand why you don't want to talk about it. Fucking Genie.

Getting spiked with Magic Mushrooms in Malaysia then realising that the nightclub I was in was a gay club. Then realising that it was in such a rough area that taxi's wouldn't pick people up there and having to wait until 7 am and get back to my hotel on a bus full of schoolkids still tripping my nuts off.

cheers
